Meet the Founders
We’re Jon and Natalie, the husband-and-wife team behind Copper Vacation Rentals & Events.
Natalie: Grew up in England, moved to California in her early twenties.
Jon: Third-generation Californian.
We divide our time between Mariposa, where we live full-time, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Yosemite has long been one of our favorite places, and we love sharing our knowledge, passion, and appreciation for the park and surrounding areas.
From early house flips to larger renovations for Jon’s design-build clients, and countless projects in our own homes, we’ve built our expertise and love for creating spaces that feel comfortable, relaxing, and fun.

Our Mission & Values
We met after film and art school while working on a children’s television show. We got married, raised kids, and spent weekends remodeling fixer-uppers and enjoying nature, until we bought our first mountain property. It wasn’t meant to be a vacation rental, just a place to share with friends and family. But visitors kept coming back and bringing friends. That’s when our mission became clear:
To create thoughtfully designed spaces in nature where people can connect, recharge, and make lasting memories.
Today, our properties; Copper Lodge, Copper Cabin, and soon, Copper Ridge, reflect this mission and continue to evolve with every guest experience.
